Disaster Action Teams

With cold weather on the way ARC Disaster Services of Calhoun County will be responding to an increasing number of Home Fires during the next four months.

To respond to these disasters, Disaster Services counts on Disaster Services Volunteers just like yourself.  In an ongoing effort to support the man-power needs of these teams Disaster Services is looking for new members.

If you are interested in joining a DAT please call 236-0391 and/or drop off your Volunteer Application TODAY.

The Calhoun County Chapter has volunteers who assist with disaster response in the Calhoun County area and around the state.  Our staff and volunteers are also available for National Disaster assignments.

We provide emergency food, clothing, shelter and other assistance to disaster victims 24-7 (24 hours a day, seven days a week).  In addition, our Mental Health Disaster Volunteers provide critical assistance in debriefing families and emergency workers.

Volunteers  are always needed for helping in emergencies.
