In geodesic tensegrity (discontinuous-compression , continuous-tension structures) is the ability to assemble unprecedentedly large, clear span structures, whose overall dimensions are limited only by the relative alloyed coherence of associated atoms therein involved. Geodesic tensegrity spheres may be produced @ enormous city enclosing diameters. They may be assembled by helicopter with great economy. A dome of this vast scale (a mile in diameter) would be structurally failsafe in that the amount of air inside would take months to evacuate should any air vehicle smash through its upper structure or break any of its trussing.ENERGY
