Happy Holidays from the Aasens! We hope you are enjoying this blessed season. We are keeping busy with holiday programs, cookie exchanges, decorating and shopping. We look forward to spending time with family and friends in the coming weeks.
Just a little recap of the last couple of months... Amy went back to work at Concordia in mid-October. Casey is enjoying Cobber Kids Corner as much as his sister Ellie does. We did encounter a trying time in our lives this past September. Little Casey, at just 6 and one-half weeks, was admitted to MeritCare Children's Hospital. He had Group B Strep bacteria in his blood and was septic. He needed to stay in for 10 days of intraveneous antibiotic treatment. He was discharged on Tuesday, Sept. 17 and all of his follow-up appointments have been stellar. At 4 months, he weighs in at 17 lbs. 2 oz.
