24-Day Challenge Summary

I was trying to figure out how long it would take Trip and T'Pol to make that 16-light year voyage from Earth to Vulcan, and with a little help from some Trek-related geek sites, I determined it would take 24 days at Warp 6 using the TOS Warp curve. (Only 17 days at Warp 6 using the TNG Warp curve, but we're pre-TOS here.)

So that means when T'Pol left at 1100 hours (that's 11 AM to all you civilians), she spent 24 days cooped up in a Vulcan vessel with little ol' Trip. No thoughts of Koss. No worries of the future. Just her, Trip, and a bunch of stuffy old Vulcans.

Here's the challenge: write a story about those 24 days Trip and T'Pol spent on their way to Vulcan! It's that simple. Because I'm lazy and didn't make my own deadline (tisk!), I'm extending the deadline to Friday, January 14, 2005.
