Welcome to UCM

Welcome to the web site of United Campus Ministry! We are an ecumenical ministry that is open to all students, faculty, staff, and others at East Central University in Ada, OK.

Our mission is to know Christ and to make Christ known.

Students of all religious backgrounds and faith traditions are welcome at UCM. As the saying goes, "In a religion that was born in a barn, an open door goes without saying." Even if you are not for sure what you believe, where you belong, or what you should be doing - we hope you will find United Campus Ministry to be a place you can call home while at ECU.

UCM Student Site

We are working on creating a new UCM website. The student section is online. Keep in mind, it's a work in progress.

Partners in Ministry

UCM receives support from a variety of sources including students, parents of students, alumni, church members, and friends of the campus ministry. Almost 25% of our budget depends on the support of our Partners in Ministry. Our goal for 2005 is to raise $24,000. If you would like more information about becoming a UCM Partner in Ministry, please contact us.

New Building

We have raised about $10,000 towards the construction of a new building. In addition, we have about $25,000 that has been raised by the United Methodist churches in the Ardmore District. If you would like to make a contribution to our building fund, please let us know.

Crossfire

In the early 1990's, several UCM students began a music ministry known as Crossfire. Over the years, the faces changed as some students graduated and new students joined. Every semester the group ministered in several churches as well as other venues. Email us for more information.

UCM Alumni

If you are a UCM alum, please email us and let us know your contact information. We would like to include you on our newsletter mailing list.
