Ellen was listed as a Servant in the 1881 Asgarby Census. It is believed that she was known as 'Nellie'. She married a carriage maker, Walter Barlow, and they are both buried at Kirkby La Thorpe St. Deny's cemetery
Gravestone reads.
"In loving memory of Walter Harlow, born 10 Jan 1866, Died 14 Mar 1944, Ellen, the beloved wife of Walter Barlow born 1 April, 1861, entered into rest 20 December, 1900. Peace, Perfect Peace."
Nellie may have been a bit of a singer.
Granddaughter, Audrey Barlow is alive in England and g.t. will be in touch.
