bullet  Noted events in his life were:

• Notes for BEVERLEY HAVELOCK TOWNS. Beverley Towns and Ruth farmed for many years north of Ninette, Manitoba in an area which was somewhat wild re bush, deer, wolves, etc. Ruth was a nurse in charge of the operating room at the Ninette Sanitarium (Tuberculosis) and Beverley farmed. They raised their family in this location, along with the help of Ruth's mother, Mrs. Standring.

Bev. worked also as a salesman, working at times for Fuller Brush, selling fur coats, and other products.

Bev. was badly injured in a winter snowstorm head-on car collision about 1957 just north of Killarney. He was hospitalized for a lengthy period and the cattle were sold from the farm.

The farm was eventually sold and the family moved closer to Winnipeg, living at Rathwell, Manitoba, where they owned and operated the General Store and Post Office. Bev. was also the Postmaster from 1974 to 1986. Unfortunately, Ruth fell ill with cancer and passed away. Bev eventually remarried and he and Helen have enjoyed many years of Square Dancing, Bingo, Travel (including some winters in Arizona), and daily walks.
