Interior work
Well, I didn't update for a long time, technical difficulties, sorry.
I filled in the holes in the floor with expanding foam.
On really cold days, there is a bit of chill through them still, but that was when it was around O-degrees F.

I cut large pieces cardboard into the sizes of appliances and such and laid them around the floor to plan where things would go.
I was well-supervised by Inspector 4, Sara.

It took a lot of work, but I finally got that last board off the wall.
I wanted to burn the darn thing, but it's treated to not burn, so I had to do with just pitching it out the window!
In addition to the window frame being made onto it, there was still the occasional hidden screw to deal with.

I had acrylic cut to fit in the 2 openings and fastened them in place with duct tape, one from inside and one from outside.

The inside of the larger one is taped up with white duct tape, which makes it look a little nicer. :)
The walls were full of holes from the boards, so I filled with silicone caulk. Oops, it was clear, so picked up the yellow color of the insulation foam, so I went over them all with white. Big white globs on the walls looks much nicer than brownish-yellow globs.

When the plumber was here cutting the hole for the toilet, I had him help me remove the old, broken door knob and drill the hole for the peephole viewer. Turns out, he owns rental property so was quite familiar with installing both.
The old doorknob was industrial-size, so we cut a piece of hard plastic to help hold the new one in place as it was barely larger than the hole!

The place that "catches" the latch was broken, so I mounted this heavy metal plate to repair it.

I didn't do much at all for the installation of the peephole, but I did supervise and take photos!

I don't seem to have a nice photo of the door after this.
