Bethel Volunteer Ministry |
Pass Christian, Mississippi |
This ministry exists to help the people of south Mississippi recover from the winds and surge of Hurricane Katrina because of the support of congregations, individuals, and foundations. |
In addition to the need for volunteers to work in all of the various aspects of the ministry (physicians, nurses, skilled craftsmen, semi-skilled craftsmen, data input, kitchen/building help, intake individuals), we have specific ministry needs and specific clinic needs at any time. The salary for our Ministry Director, Clinic Executive Director, Volunteer Coordinator, and Administrative Coordinator are funded by Bethel Lutheran Church. The salary for the Medical Clinic’s Medical Administrative Assistant is being funded until 9/1/07 by a grant. The remaining support is obtained by individuals and congregations from across the nation. We have also received support from two Lutheran churches in Germany. The grants we have received include: expended |
