Member Car of the Month - May 2008

Mike & Nancy's 1982 G.T. 5.0

Nancy and I acquired this car from her father after he passed away in 2005. Nancy's father, Jim, bought the car in Ventura, California on December 31st 1981 and paid a whopping $10,578 dollars for the car. Currently it has 53,500 miles, mostly city driving other then the occasional highway trip up the California coast. Jim drove the car on sunny days or when rain wasn't forecasted, otherwise it was always parked in the garage. Nancy and I like the car because it looks like it did the day it was purchased and it will always remind her of her father. The only changes made to the car are the current tires & wheels (now 20 years old). We have the original tires and wheels (TRX Michelin 390mm/15.3) that are hidden in our garage.

We plan on many more years enjoying our Mustang and hopefully passing it on to our children.
