Lee and Sara's Mustang was found in a barn in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. A sweet little old lady had won the car at a raffle in Jackpot, Nevada 4 years earlier. She drove the car from Jackpot to Glenns Ferry and parked it in the barn where it collected more than its fair share of dirt, cobwebs and yes, chicken poop! Looking through the obvious, they found the car to be a numbers matching, A-code 289, T10 toploader with a new ragtop and a decent paint job. The car had been "cosmetically restored" prior to being raffled 4 years ago. They drove it home that day.
The 289 was pulled and rebuilt as original as possible. The winter of 1999-2000 was spent detailing the engine compartment, restoring the interior and adding some original equipment/dealer options to make this a truly classic pony. Now all they need is a warm summer day to take the top down and cruise!
