This is Larry and Deborah's restored 1965 Mustang. They live in Salmon, Idaho. The car is a late 65 out of Dearborn, 289 2bbl (fresh rebuild, bored 60 over, flat top pistons, slightly modified cam, new valves, guides, hardened seats, push rods, crank turned, heads machined, etc.), C4 transmission (2 new bands, filter, seals), engine and tranny by J&L Performance Machine in Salmon. The exterior is Vintage Burgundy (base coat/clear coat) and interior is white with black carpet, dash, seat belts. All exterior and interior by Kevin Stout of "Kevin's Customs" in Salmon. New 4 row radiator PS, AC, disc brakes, full length console, 15x7 styled steel wheels with Toyo 195/15 tires.
It looks sharp and is a real runner. Larry is looking forward to some fun trips this summer. There is the annual Father's Day weekend car show in Salmon sponsored by the local "Spokes and Chrome". July 9-11 in Missoula is Rock and Roll Daze. Check it out at www.rocknrolldaze.com. Sounds like a good time!
Their other vehicles are a 91 Taurus SHO loaded with all the goodies, what a fun car. It is Deborah's daily driver. Larry's truck is a 91 F350 XLT Lariat.
